Why does Trump keep blaming Ukraine for getting invaded by Russia?

For 3 years, Ukraine has been standing against world’s most brutal war machine — Russia. And Russia can’t break Ukraine. The Russians can’t break the Ukrainians.
Trump doesn’t blame Ukraine for getting invaded by Russia — what he’s saying, is that Ukraine shouldn’t have defended herself, because Russia is “20 times larger”. And Trump is saying this because he wants to start invading other countries — Greenland, Panama, Canada — and he doesn’t want them to fight back. He wants them to surrender without a fight.
Trump’s constant complaints that Ukraine “shouldn’t have started the war” mean exactly that — if a powerful country like the USA says they want your land and impose conditions, you should “negotiate a good deal” and live happily ever after.

What if all other countries realize they need to fight back?
This just messes up all Trump’s plans.
This is also about the trade war that Trump unleashed against the whole world, demanding that everyone comes and grovels before him and “makes a deal”.

Very bad example.
Bad, bad example Ukraine is setting.
That’s what Trump wants.

This is why Ukraine that’s fighting back against mighty Russia is such a nuisance for Trump.
